MNCS Nuts + Bolts has rented the St. Peter outdoor pool for MNCS students, staff, and families to enjoy on Friday, July 29 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. We know that having students from so many different communities means that kids don't always get a chance to see one another during the summer, so we try to have a fun activity for people in the summer.
What: MNCS Summer Pool Reunion
Where: Roy T. Lindenberg Memorial Outdoor Pool in St. Peter (300 North 4th Street)
When: Friday, July 29th 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
All MNCS students, staff, and family members can come to enjoy the pool! Bring a treat to share. Your favorite inflatable toys are welcome, too!
Cup Stacking Challenge!
Some MNCS Elementary students yesterday participated in a project which involved teamwork and brainstorming. The challenge: to build the tallest tower possible! Students started with just cups and began stacking them a variety of ways. Then they were given more items such as pencils and tape to re-analyze and adjust their structures. It has been fun for students to continue working collaboratively with each other this summer and to promote creative learning!
Today is the first day of MNCS Summer Enrichment! The theme for our younger students this week is camping. Students started off the day with learning how to assemble a tent & teamwork! This week will incorporate a variety of fun learning components related to camping and students are sure to have a great time!

The Last Day of School!
As the school year comes to a close, we look back fondly on things learned, friendships made, and look forward to future and summer plans! We want to wish you and your family all the very best this summer! May it be a happy and healthy summer! We are proud of our students and congratulate them on accomplishing a successful school year and to those leaving or moving on to the High School, we wish the very best in your future endeavors. Thank you to all MNCS families for your support this year and we could not have been as successful without your partnership! We look forward to welcoming students back on August 29th to begin another school year full of learning adventures and experiences.

Dean day was a success filled with lots of fun! They students cleaned the entire school, had a grill out for lunch, and had the infamous water fight that happens every year! Here's to a wonderful summer!
MNCS Elementary students in the Frog and Critter classes enjoyed a field games day outside in the beautiful weather! They participated in a relay race, cartwheels, scooter races, a shoe toss, and water sponge races for the second to last day of school!
Some MNCS Elementary students were able to go to the Seven Mile Falls Regional Park today and enjoy some hiking! What a great day out on the trails and exploring nature!
Glow in the Dark Activities!
Students in the Frog classroom enjoyed some glow in the dark games this morning to start off the last week of school! There was tic-tac-toe, ring toss, bowling, hopscotch, & glow in the dark art! MNCS students had so much fun glowing & playing today!
For our last town meeting of this school year, the students got into groups and tried to configure something around an egg so the egg wouldn't crack from a high drop. Here are the winners! Savannah, Asher and Jack!
Students went to Franconia Sculpture garden today to admire the wonderful sculptures. They also got to create a little bit of art for themselves!
That's not all! The Pavek Museum offered more fun opportunities for our students including the Electromagnetism Workshop where they learned more about electronic communication and electric power generation. Another group of students participated in a game show from what they learned this morning! What a fun day of learning!

MNCS Elementary Students Live and On the Air!
Students are visiting the Pavek Museum today for the final day of Experience Week. They enjoyed visiting the KPAV studio and participating in a broadcasting workshop! They learned the science and history of electronic communication today and was so fun to experience being on the radio!
MNCS Summer Academic Program 2022 Information
The MNCS Archery Team held their first Banquet on Friday! There was a parent/student shootout, great food was provided and awards were given out to the students for their accomplishments.

Day 2 Experience Week: Chutes and Ladders!
Students in the Swans, Komodo Dragons, and Monkeys classes enjoyed the creative play area at Hyland Park. The park includes a variety of structures where students can climb, swing, and slide! From the spider web climbing structure, to the numerous twisting slides and climbable ladders, students loved this real-life Chutes and Ladders! What a perfect adventure for our students today!
More Sea Life Fun!!
Students yesterday were able to go to Mall of America for the first day of Experience Week. The older students explored Minnesota's largest aquarium- Sea Life! Students had fun exploring the underwater abyss, checking out a variety of sea creatures including sharks, sawfish, rescued sea turtles, stingrays, mesmerizing jelly fish, tropical fish, and so much more! Memories were made and it was a great day of ocean discovery!
