June 2nd – Valleyfair Trip and last day of school – Cost for a ticket is $20 for MNCS student and $25 for guest – online payment system is available – go to money is due June 1st. Bring money to purchase a lunch and beverages.

Transportation for June 2nd is as follows:

AM Bus will pick up in Mankato, St. Peter and Le Sueur at normal times.  Trailblazer Buses will run AM routes at normal times.  No bus will pick up at Le Center and Cleveland.

Bus will leave MNCS High School at 8:30am for Valleyfair

Bus will leave Valleyfair at 4:15pm, and arrive at MNCS High School at 4:50pm

Bus will take students home only to Le Sueur (5:00pm), St. Peter (5:20pm) and Mankato (5:30pm).  There are NO PM Trailblazer buses running, and no Le Center and Cleveland PM bus.

If you plan on using transportation other than the bus  – please get a note of permission to Anthony by Thursday, June 1st.


Experience Days

 Friday, May 26, 2017 – Curious about architecture, city planning, and urban design?  MNCS will be getting a walking tour of Minneapolis from nationally recognized architect, Bill Blanski.  This is going to be an unforgettable learning experience, and we have room for 15 students.  Students who choose to participate will need to bring a lunch or money to buy one.
Friday, May 26, 2017 – Golf – FOURRRR – Cory and Nick will be taking students to Terrace View to play a round of golf. Charge is $10 Pay Joan or online payment is available, bring a lunch or money to purchase lunch and beverages.
Friday, May 26, 2017 – Water Testing with Nichole. There is no charge for this event and you will be back at school for lunch. Space is limited so sign up early.
Friday, May 26, 2017 – Mathapalooza – Need math credit or want to enjoy of math? Join the math team for a fun filled day of math. There is no charge for this event, meet in the media center.
Friday, May 26 2017 – Planting a Garden – David will be helping students plant garden around MNCS. If you’re interested in working in these gardens this summer let David know. There is no charge for this event, sign up in the Experience Days book on Joan’s desk. BTW dress for the weather!!!
Friday, May 26 2017 – Mathaplooza – Math is FUN with Jim, Chrissy & Lana!!! This class is for students who have 10 topics or less for the year. Check with your advisor before signing up. There is no charge for this event, sign up is at Joan’s desk.
Tuesday, May 30 2017 – Mankato Airport – If you are interested in aviation, Dean will take students to tour the Mankato Airport. Sign up at Joan’s desk, there is no charge for this event, Bus is leaving at 12:00.

The Kitchen Cupboard Cafe Menu 16-17

Tickets are for purchase at Nancy’s desk, by check, cash, or on  Students manage their own lunch tickets once purchased.  Lunches are $3.50 each, make checks out to MNCS.  Students need to put their lunch ticket with their name on it into the “Lunch Tickets” box by 8:30am at Nancy’s desk each morning to order lunch.

Thank you for your efforts to recycle in the kitchen!
We are attempting to split garbage into three categories:
Cans and Plastics — all cans and plastics numbered 1-7
**Please do not recycle plastic flatware, plastic bags, or plastic wrap**
 Food waste — please recycle all food waste.
We will not recycle paper food packaging in the kitchen.
If you have large boxes please break them down and recycle.
All other waste can go in the garbage.

Drivers Ed -Driver Education Classroom instruction will be offered June 5-27.  Must be at least 15 years of age by the start of classroom instruction.  Registration due June 1Dr Ed Class June 2017
