Tuesday, February 28th – Student Congress meeting at 9:45 in the Conference Room. If you are in grades 10th-12th  and are planning on attending Prom/Spring Formal you will need to attend this meeting.

Friday, March 3rd –  National Unplug day  Shilo’s Sr. Project is about Internet Privacy and he would like to see how many students will be shutting off their phones for the day. He will be tracking the internet usage of that day.

Thursday, March 16th – Attention Educators: Are you working in the field of education and curious to learn more about MNCS? On Thursday, March 16, 2017, you are welcome to visit MNCS from 9:00 – 10:30 AM to tour the high school building and learn about how a project-based, teacher-led school works. This event is free of charge, and you can be in touch with Nichole Kotasek at if interested in passing through.

Experience Days

March 3, 2017 – MN Book Arts – Paul and Reta will be taking students to the cities for “paper marbling”  There is a $10 charge space is limited, pay Joan to secure your spot Online payment is available through Bring a bag lunch otherwise bring a minimum of $10 to purchase one.

We are attempting to split garbage into three categories:
Cans and Plastics — all cans and plastics numbered 1-7
**Please do not recycle plastic flatware, plastic bags, or plastic wrap**
 Food waste — please recycle all food waste.
We will not recycle paper food packaging in the kitchen.
If you have large boxes please break them down and recycle.
All other waste can go in the garbage.

Tickets are for purchase at Nancy’s desk, by check, cash, or on  Students manage their own lunch tickets once purchased.  Lunches are $3.50 each, make checks out to MNCS.  Students need to put their lunch ticket with their name on it into the “Lunch Tickets” box by 8:30am at Nancy’s desk each morning to order lunch.
