General Announcements

New Student Orientation for High School Grades 7-12 is on August 21st, and 22nd, 2019.  Both days from 9:00am – 3:00pm.  This is for student’s “new” to MNCS High School.  Please bring a lunch and a beverage for these 2 days as school lunch will not be available yet.

School begins on Monday, August 26th, 2019.

 
 
All School Potluck Picnic
We would like to invite you to a MNCS ALL School Potluck Picnic on Thursday, September 5th. 
This is a informational event, also a great way to put names to faces.
 
If families with the last name starting with A through M could please bring a salad and families with the last name starting with N through Z  bring a dessert. MNCS will provide the main dish, chips and beverage. 

Tuesday during the Classic Car Roll In there will be Food Trucks on MNCS High School boulevard. If you’re in town, please support these food trucks since they help support our Breakfast Program. Eat up so our kids can chow down!!! If you are interested in donating to our Breakfast Program contact Joan Skelly jskelly@newcountryschool.com

Minnesota State Fair – Join us for the Great MN. get together – Cory & Paul will be taking students rain or shine. Cost is $15, pay Joan to secure your spot, online payment is available for this event. Bring a bag lunch or bring money to purchase one at the fair. 
 
September 6, 2019:
 
BWCA Trip (Boundary Waters Canoe Area) – First Meeting – Talk to Anthony if you are interested.

The Kitchen Cupboard Cafe 19-20 (School Lunch)

Our School Lunch is catered in each day from Patty’s Kitchen Cupboard Cafe in Le Sueur.  Lunch Tickets are for purchase at Nancy’s desk, by check & cash, and online – click on the Square icon above. Students will be given physical tickets, and will manage their own lunch tickets once purchased.  Lunches are $3.50 each, make checks out to MNCS.  Students need to put their lunch ticket with their name on it into the “Lunch Tickets” box by 8:30am at Nancy’s desk each morning to order lunch.  See the Patty’s Cafe Menu below:

Henderson Area Food Share – Is a group of community members is sponsoring a produce distribution for area community members and even outside of the community. Located at Minnesota New Country High School. Distribution will take place every “THIRD” Thursday of the month, from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
The income guidelines to qualify are as followed, but we do not intend further inquiries for financial statue, and will go based upon the honor system.
