High School Presentation Night – Thursday, Dec. 13th, 2018 @ 5:30pm at MNCS High School

“Calling all actors or people interested in short films. Lauren Bryant in Nichole’s advisory is doing a short film called MN-CSI. If you are interested in participating as an actor or as a part of the crew come to the auditions 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday the 11th, Wednesday the 12th or Thursday the 13th. All grades welcome. No experience needed. If you have any questions ask Lauren in Nichole’s advisory.”

MNCS Board of Directors Meeting – Monday Dec. 17th, 2018 @ 5:30pm

Bloodmobile on Thursday, Dec. 20th, 2018 will be held at the Henderson Roadhaus Event Center.  (not at MNCS, venue change so that MNCS can host the Second Harvest Food Drive on 12/20)

Henderson Area Food Share at MNCS on Thursday Dec. 20th, 2018 – 4:30 – 5:30.

Early Release on Friday Dec. 21, 2018 – High School 1:05pm, Elementary School 1:15pm.  See early release bus schedules below:

Experience Days

Mount Kato Ski Trip:

 If using transportation other than MNCS bus please get permission to Anthony.

Grades: 5th and 6th – Lift and rental $18, add $2 for helmet.

Grades: 7th and 8th – Lift and rental $26, add $2 for  helmet.

Grades: 9th thru 12th – Lift and Rental $30, add $4 for helmet.

Grades: 5th thru 8th –  Lift only $18

Grades: 9th thru Adult – Lift only $20 

Double Play: Join Nichole and Jenn for a Friday of Double Play fun! This is a free event.  Bring your Magic cards, your D&D, your board games or try some of the board games at Double Play.  Bring a lunch or $5 to buy a lunch.  40 student limit.  Be there or be square. Sign up in the Experience Friday Book on Joan’s Desk.

The Kitchen Cupboard Cafe 18-19 (School Lunch)

Our School Lunch is catered in each day from Patty’s Kitchen Cupboard Cafe in Le Sueur.  Lunch Tickets are for purchase at Nancy’s desk, by check & cash, and online – click on the Square icon above. Students will be given physical tickets, and will manage their own lunch tickets once purchased.  Lunches are $3.50 each, make checks out to MNCS.  Students need to put their lunch ticket with their name on it into the “Lunch Tickets” box by 8:30am at Nancy’s desk each morning to order lunch.  See the KCC’s Menu below:

2017-2018 Yearbooks are still for sale!!  $20.00 each, see Nancy to purchase.  You can also purchase the yearbook online through Square Inc. – see the square icon below.  If you buy online – pick up your book at the front desk.

Please clip and save Box Tops for Education for MNCS!  The advisory which collects the most Box Tops for Education between now and December 7th will receive a pizza party. Proceeds from Box Tops for Education benefit all students at MNCS. CONTEST SPONSORED BY NUTS&BOLTS

Henderson Area Food Share – Is a group of community members is sponsoring a produce distribution for area community members and even outside of the community. Located at Minnesota New Country High School. Distribution will take place every “THIRD” Thursday of the month, from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
The income guidelines to qualify are as followed, but we do not intend further inquires for financial statue, and will go based upon the honor system.
