High School Student HELPER WANTED – The MNCS Connections Team is seeking a creative and tech-savvy student to compile a short video of cutest moments from elementary morning meetings.  Student will either attend and record the Morning Meetings, or receive a recording. Unique and fun way to earn credit and make something amusing for all to see. If interested, contact David Rice drice@newcountryschool.com.

Art & Shop Please E-mail Jake jzeiher@newcountryschool.com if you have a shop or art projects and we can add you to our google classroom for project ideas and you will be invited to “shop talk” and “art critiques” chat rooms!

The Reading Team is accepting all writing prompts, even the ones you may have missed until May 4th. If you are interested in that credit, please do the following:
1) Contact your advisor to find out what prompts you are missing and receive electronic copies.
2) Write them.
3) Use the spell and grammar check feature offered to you under “tools” in your Google Docs.
4) Email the rough drafts to Jennifer at jbrunick@newcountryschool.com
She will be using Google “suggest” so you will still receive the same high quality line edits you have come to appreciate. If you complete all 5 papers, you will still receive .5 credit. If you have any other questions, please contact Jenn at the email above.

Want to join this book group? Watch the video to make sure and send Jenn an email at jbrunick@newcountryschool.com to be added to the class. If you complete all the options available, this book group will be worth .35 credit (including a little social studies for those in 9th thru 12th grade.) Don’t worry about finding a copy, I have scanned it all in and it will be provided for you. You will be able to read it from your computer, or print it at home if you prefer. Just make sure you clear that with your parents first, though. It will eventually amount to the whole novel. This book group will begin on Monday, April 6th and will run Monday thru Friday. The book does contain adult themes and is more appropriate for a high school student. Parents of middle schoolers will have to connect with Jenn through email or phone to give their student permission.

Here’s a chance to share a book you’ve read and loved with fellow students.  Fill out this MNCS Student Book Review google form and receive .05 extra credit.

If you went to “Twelfth Night” at the Guthrie, please take this survey and get your reflections to Jenn for credit. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/3775WQ8
